Biography
Daichi and his twin sister Ame, were born in Tokyo and raised in New York. They aren't rich, but their mom made enough money to move to the U.S. when they were 1. So, their mom was born in the U.S. while her parents were on vacation in Florida, but was raised in Japan since her parents were Japanese citizens. So even though the twins were born in Japan, they could legally be called U.S. citizens since their mom was one. Although they look exactly alike and are best friends, Daichi and his sister are polar opposites. While he's moody and mean, Ame is bubbly and sweet. He and his sister are best friends. They were raised together, were home schooled until middle school, so when they started public school they knew each other like the backs of their hands. But when Ame started making friends right away, Daichi became moody and pushed everyone else away, being the start of his attitude change. The two found out they were demigods when they were 16 after coming home from a day of shopping. They were going into the subway, at night, to get back to their apartment. As they walked down the steps a cyclopes came running off of the tracks, followed by two girls with swords. Daichi, freaking out, created a mini earthquake as the girls were fighting the monster. Ame grabbed her brother and, like the ocean, she washed away his worries and calmed him down. The two girls, Radiance and Victoria, recognized them as demigods and escorted them back to their hotel to get their things, then take them to camp. When they walked into their room, their mother, Ren, noticed the other two and started bawling and rambling in Japanese. When she was finally calm, she said, "I knew this day would come," and hugged her children tightly. Ren already knew that they were demigods, and knew that their father was Poseidon. After a tearful goodbye, the four demigods made their way to Camp Half-Blood
