Personality: Jamal is very intelligent but tries to hide this under seemingly random statements and acts designed to make him look foolish. He lives by the mantra of knowledge is power and does his best to make sure he stays the most powerful. He is a very cautious person but when he does begin to trust someone, he is extremely loyal. Jamal tries to avoid making attachments as he believes they hold one back from their true potential and make them weak. He is a very stubborn person and finds it hard to accept he may be wrong.
Strengths and Talents: His IQ has never been successfully charted as he refuses to take the test seriously and instead focuses on mocking the examineer. He does very well academically when he chooses to and is one of the few halfbloods without dyslexia. He also has an eidetic memory allowing him to memorize entire passages and conversations after a few seconds of intense concentration.
Weaknesses: He has a tendency to distrust everyone. He has asthma which limits his endurance levels. He is scared of spiders, especially large spiders which cause him to momentarily freeze up. He also has trouble communicating in new enviroments.

Powers: Jamal can analyze opponents fighting style and use the knowledge to avoid attacks and make counterattacks to the point of seeming precognitive however using this ability for more than 5 minutes causes severe headaches.

Strengths: Extremely skilled at manipulating enemies, proficient with concealed weaponry, extremely quick in a short sprint, rudimentary knowledge of pressure points

Biography: Jamal was born and raised in kennewick with his father who was a college professor of mythology. when he was 10 his father was in a car accident that eventually killed him but not before revealing to Jamal that his mother was the goddess Athena. Jamal was placed in foster homes over the next 3 years but was continuously kicked out for causing problems in the homes such as manipulating others into fights or causing minor explosions. Eventually he was moved to a foster home in new york where he ran away and lived on the streets for a year until he was chased and almost killed by a pack of hellhounds, barely escaping by dousing himself in vinegar to cover his scent. eventually he made his way toward long island where he was eventually discovered by a couple of satyrs who directed him to camp halfblood where he was claimed by Athena

Relationships with mortals: Jamal tends to treat mortals with outward disdain,, often making fun of their cluelessness but secretly envies them. He does however have respect for mortals who can see through the mist like his father
Relationships with friends: Jamal does not easily make friends but when he does he is very loyal. He tends to cause problems for himself by keeping secrets from them to protect them. He does this to avoid the lose of people close to him
Relationships with campers: Jamal is wary of most campers because they are aware that he is a child of Athena, which takes away his ability to conceal his intelligence which he normally uses as a secret advantage among potential threats, which he sees most demigods as.

Jamal has an advance knowledge of monsters that he acquired from his father who majored in mythology and would frequently test Jamal on his knowledge of greek mythology, knowing that it would eventually be extremely helpful for Jamal
